Eporise 4000 injection contains Epoetin Alfa, which is a synthetic form of erythropoietin—a hormone produced by the kidneys that stimulates red blood cell production. It's typically used to treat anemia, especially in patients with chronic kidney disease, cancer (on chemotherapy), or those undergoing major surgery. It helps increase red blood cell (RBC) production in patients whose kidneys can’t make enough erythropoietin.It also reduces the need for blood transfusions.
